I am a student and I need a macbook for school, and like any other student, we are tight on cash, so should I buy the refurbished one or a new one, witch one will last me longer and what do they do to all the refurbished one’s?

Answer by Wes M The refurbished ones are basically models that people buy and then return or ones that have slight defects that are fixed and then resold. They put them through all the same tests that the new ones go through, they have the same one-year warranty, and you can get the same 3-year AppleCare protection (which I would strongly recommend you do, even for a new one). It’s basically the same as buying a new one, except it has the word “refurbished” next to it.
